BaseTek has “Flexibility” when it comes to inspection.
We pride ourselves in working with the customer to design, build, and cast bases & foundations from Zanite Plus mineral cast polymer. We will cast the base to fit their exact application.
Before casting the base, we need to inspect the mold and any custom components that will be part of the casting. BaseTek has been using FARO’s Quantum measurement arm for years to provide inspection data required to ensure the finished casting meets the customer drawing.
Having the “flexibility” to inspect molds and castings on the shop floor is key to keeping projects moving so we can meet the promised ship date and make sure it matches the print before it leaves our dock.
The 8’ FARO Quantum Measurement Arm allows for a quick setup and check for most parts that we cast. When we have castings that extend beyond our 8’ footprint, the FARO Leapfrog technique gives us the “flexibility” to measure larger castings quickly and reliably.
In the picture, Adam is mounting the 2 pump riser pedestals to the complete custom PoxyBase baseplate making sure alignment is correct. The goal is to get it aligned and ready for assembly as soon as it arrives at your dock.
Give BaseTek a try, we make it easy!
