Each year BaseTek takes one day to enjoy each other’s company to the fullest. This year, on July 7th, BaseTek decided to take the whole day to go golfing, stand in the rain, play some poker, eat some delicious food, and enjoy each other’s presence. We decided to go to Pleasant Hills Golf Course (located in Chardon, Ohio) to play in a company scramble. There were prizes for longest drive, longest putt, and closest to the pin! Although we got caught in the rain for the first hour, we now have even more great memories of huddling in a shack, playing some poker, and joking around. The scores at the end of the 9 holes were very close! All 4 teams were within just 4 points of each other, ranging from the winning score of 40 to 44. After golf, we headed to Cabanas (located in Chardon, Ohio) to enjoy some tasty food and hand out some prizes from the game of golf! Thank you so much to some of our generous vendors who donated great prizes for our outing! After some much needed food and drinks, we enjoyed a couple games of bocce ball along with lots of laughs. All in all, it was definitely an outing to put in the record books. We are already looking forward to our outing next year!
