BaseTek just filled several large steel fabricated bases with Zanite polymer composite for an Automotive Assembly & Testing application.  Each base was over 19 foot long, 5 foot wide and tipped the scale at 16,000 lbs when filled.  The customer identified a resonance issue with the steel base and utilized the vibration damping qualities of Zanite.  BaseTek’s experienced staff was able to complete the project in record time allowing the customer to meet their deadline.
